Springdale works to create a sense of community not only for ourselves, but for our neighbors, as well.  Our doors are open to anyone and our hearts are open to those in need in our area communities.  In the spirit of "the community of Christ," our membership is involved in a variety of local (and even global) outreach.

  • Deaf Ministries

    Signs of Life Fellowship, a ministry for the hearing-impaired in Staunton and Waynesboro, organized by Chris and MaryBeth Moore.
  • Disciples' Kitchen

    Local soup kitchen in Waynesboro that serves hot lunches to those in need three days a week and a hot breakfast every Saturday.
  • Virginia Mennonite Relief Sale

    Annual fundraising event organized by Mennonite Central Committee for the purpose of relieving suffering in the world.
  • WARM Shelter

    Waynesboro Area Refuge Ministry (WARM) is a shelter open to homeless individuals in the area during the cold months of fall and winter.  Provides temporary shelter utilizing area churches.
  • Cancer Relay for Life

    Each year, more than 4 million people in over 20 countries take part in this global relay to raise funds and awareness to save lives from cancer 
  • ComfortCare Women's Health / The Stride

    Pregnancy Help Center in Staunton that works to save women and babies from the pain of uneducated reproductive choices.  "Stride for Life" is an annual walk/run event that brings awareness and funding to support the sanctity of life.
  • CROP Hunger Walk

    Annual fundraiser organized by Church World Service to help provide food for children and families in the United States and worldwide.
  • Walk to End Alzheimer's

    The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s™ is the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.
