On Friday, May 19, at 7 p.m., Springdale Mennonite Church will host "Laughter is Sacred Space," a production of Ted & Company TheaterWorks. This is a true story about the joy and pain of a life full of paradoxes as Ted Swartz walks us through his journey working with a comedic partner struggling with bipolar disorder; and after Lee's death, performing Biblical stories while experiencing the profound absence of God.
Using multimedia and his 20 years of storytelling and theater experience, "Laughter is Sacred Space" is a beautiful example of Ted's unique ability to use humor and vulnerable storytelling to bring hope to some of life's most difficult realities.
Admission is free and open to the public.
(A freewill offering will be received to help offset expenses.)
